Hello, I live ;o I've kind of abandoned LJ, though.
Mostly I'm posting to let my Babylon 5-loving friends know that the complete scriptbook series is almost done, and IIRC it'll stop being for sale at the end of May. But it might be sooner.
If you've never gotten any before, a complete set now is... $560US plus shipping, wow XD; But it's SO COOL. SO COOL, YOU GUYS also a good reason to get the full set: Volume 15 :9

I'm going to try again to get a level into the Anniversary Bash pack. C: But first, I need to refamiliarize myself with JCS and such.
(OMG the next one /is/ #10! -squees-)
Also, I want to trim down my level collection >.>;; Right now, I have 917 levels, 342 tilesets, and 416 .j2b's and mods of various sorts.
I am going to accomplish two goals (trimming & refamiliarizing) by playing every level I have, noting down its tileset & music file. :B
( I'm making a list, because I'm obsessive that way )

|
• One of the high points of working in a metalshop: Found a sharp point on the sand-scooper's handle? No problem, just take it to one of the sanders and sand it down.
• And another: I like this job. It gives me candy! *leeches from the owner's bag of Dum-Dums* ^.^
• Ironically: As bunches of people pack up, delete all their journals, and leave, the server speeds and such will improve for everyone else. Heh.
Bulletted lists improve my ability to write entries!

4:44 am - Semi-current events

• Our 17-year-old kitties, Wombat and Spider, who came to us when I was 4-5 years old, died this year, within four months of each other.
...We lasted about a week, before bringing home an adoption app for a pair of younglings (7 month olds). And be overrun by mice. wtf, they came out the NIGHT AFTER Wombat died. Jerks.
• So we has new kitties. :o They are made of adorable and awesome, as well as Youth. I only have one pic of each online, each captioned by the friendly neighborhood 4channers -- Raven and Rhino. They're a brother/sister duo, sold by the shelter as a pair because they didn't want to separate them. They are SO CUTE. <3 We've never had a male cat before, it's funny.. He's such a GUY. He acts just like a stereotypical teenage boy. Rhino is soft and fluffy and so cute and she sounds like a seabird when she makes sounds. :D
• I'm working at the local blacksmithy (homepage!), along with my dad (who has been there for a couple years now). Not that I'm doing much; sandblasting right now. D; It's too hot, still, for sandblasting, although it's still cooler than when I was first doing it. (90F ftl ;-;)
• My pool of skills there are, so far: Sandblasting (shooting sand at about 50mph at a piece of metal, while sweating under protective clothing); cutting metal (bandsaw~ <3); deburring (taking the sharp edges off pieces with sandpaper-on-a-motor); and using that brass-pitting machine whose name I can't remember... One guy called it the DevilMachine, because that's what it does.. it devils surfaces. :3c
• I got my first shop injury yesterday; it's like an initiation. I lost a small chunk of flesh on my knuckle while sanding strips of brass. Dx Although it didn't really hurt until dad alcohol-swabbed it. x.o
As an aside, I have white flesh. Not pink, white. I didn't really expect that...
• My dad and I went to the Wayne County Fair, like we do every year. This time, the most notable incident was the appearance of a mantis on one of the main thoroughfares. There was a small group of people looking at him, and then this woman breezes through and everyone around GASPS in horror, and she's kind of '...wut? DDD:'. xDDD She hadn't squished the mantis, fortunately! Dad picked him up and put him in the forest. :3 Where I got photos! 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5
• I saw the new Transformers movie. It was at the theater over my birthday! ^^ It was awesome and shiny. :D
• I'm planning on moving (personal journal-wise) out to Scribblit when it opens up. It's supposed to be just like LJ, only not staffed by people who fail at PR!
I don't think I'll delete this journal, just stop updating it. It's not like I've been using it for much more than community posting, though. XD;;
• Incidentally, I have a JournalFen account, because I kept wanting to comment on wank reports and kept not being able to :3c I snagged the Talec username for once! Think I'll be able to do it again at Scribblit? :3c
I would like to use that journal for something, but haven't decided what yet. I mean, it's a bit too close to the wank comms for me to be comfortable posting any of my crazy spiritual stuff. ;)
• Speaking of, I've been reading The Nature of Personal Reality: A Seth Book. I got it at the local street fair for 50 cents. xD Freakin' awesome. I'd vaguely heard of Seth before in a multiplicity context, and a quick flip through suggested that it was similar to my own ideas. I've been reading it since the start of the month, and it's completely fascinating for me~
That's all I can think of for now, and I should really go to sleep.. Pretty sure I have work tomorrow Oo

As of yesterday, it's been seven six years since I joined LJ. :o Behold!
Also:
Pre-Con To-do List
Costume (which is suddenly not what I thought it would be, and yet now has a much greater chance of completion-by-Otakon):
• Cape & robe (mom's sewing it <3)
• Necklace & 'bangles' (workin' on it)
• boots (have! <3)
Other things to do beforehand:
• Pay Ruby for the room
• Ask my neighbor if she would fix my watch (oops... guess I'll just cut out a piece of plastic and tape it on, like last year!)
• Send commish moneys to Shinerai
• Call in prescription (on Friday)
• Gather a couple boxes of poptarts, and a sixpack or two of soda. I needs my fluids. (I'll get that on the way out)
• then, Backup Sakkun
• Deposit stuff and transfer moneys from savings to checking, and withdraw some for the con (waiting on a couple amounts owed to me) (never mind, not getting those amounts 'til after, anyway)
To bring (it's a bit early to stockpile stuff, so atm this is just a reminder list time for stockpiling!):
• x days of clothes (especially my most awesome t-shirt WHICH I WILL NOT LET OUT OF MY ROOM UNTIL WE LEAVE FOR OTAKON! otherwise I'll never be able to find it when Otakon rolls around.)
• Toothbrush, toothpaste, and shampoo! My hair needs to be shiny, and only shampoo will do that. :3
• Electronics box (containing camera & GBA stuff)
• Pill case with enough paxil also need to add a few sinutab and antihistimine
• Snackage

( Reading list. It's long )
I count 70 (as "Earthsea" is three books, I just didn't feel like typing it all out). o.o'
Some I bought myself, some were pilfered from my parents' bookcases, some were thrust upon me by RL friends. No idea how many of those I'll actually end up finishing, and this of course only lists books I actually -own right now-.. I'm always planning to get more. ;<

I should probably put an update before I post some random things, ne :3;
I had my wisdom teeth out on... the 28th? Or the 21th, I forget. Clearly it made such a great impression on me! Oh, it /was/ the 21st. Anyway, the experience itself (I was laughing-gassed & novacaine'd) was rather interesting and I'm sure y'all would just love to hear me talk about that. ;P
For those of you who have yet to have your wisdom teeth out, remember this: Milkshakes will be your GORD. But don't try to drink it until the novacaine wears off. -sagenod-
After I got home, I took a pain pill that KOed me almost immediately. So I slept most of the first day, and the rest was pretty much fine. Once I could down canned soups, I had fun consuming Chicken & Stars and Spaghettios, former favorite foods that I haven't had in years. XP

I'm scanning my newly-acquired SD Gundam Force manga (and I'll scan the SD Musha Gundam manga I have, too), as I wish to scanlate them. 6.6 Hooray for NJStar, enabling my newbie dreams. XP
